- Deep grooving, rebating and mortising.
- Useful for template work when thickness of template restricts depth.
- Extra care must be taken to avoid breakage.
- Take more passes than usual, and only cut up to half the diameter of the cutter in one pass.
- This applies to cutters under 3/8 inch diameter.
